NEW GUIDANCE ON REVISIONS OF WHITE PAPER SUBMISSIONS

The IOOS Summit Co-Chairs have amended the guidance for white papers enabling authors to revise their submissions between June 30 and July 20. However, authors must submit at least an outline by June 30, since the IOOS Summit Chapter Leads are beginning to meet and synthesize the white paper topics.
- The white papers submitted by June 30 will help define the Chapters of the Summit Report. Organizers will evaluate white papers for content and identify the top 30 submissions. Those authors will receive invitations to attend the Summit.
- White Paper authors must submit at least an outline by June 30.
- After June 30, authors may expand or refine their submission so long as the final version is received by July 20.
