A preliminary version of the Summit agenda is now available online. Plenary speakers, breakout session moderators, and panelists will draw from their expertise and the Community White Papers through working sessions to develop a 10-year strategy for IOOS.

Day 1 will have government, industry, and academic leaders providing intelligent perspectives on IOOS and presenting a vision for IOOS moving forward into the next decade. Day 2 will examine technical and scientific requirements for delivering products to users. Day 3 sessions are devoted to integration of the System into a unified vision that spans the local, regional, national and global scales. And finally, Day 4 will review the results of the breakout sessions and the IOOS 2012 Summit Proceedings with discussion focused on Post-Summit Actions, summarizing accomplishments and expectations for follow-up.
